Matex is a leading manufacturer and formulator of specialty chemicals for the global textile industry. We are engaged in two main business segments:

• (i) The manufacturing, formulation and sale of specialty chemicals with primary focus on the global textile industry ("Specialty Chemicals Segment"); and
• (ii) The distribution of third party products for providing support services to our customers("Trading Segment")

Specialty Chemicals Segment

Under our Specialty Chemicals Segment, the specialty chemicals we manufacture, formulate and sell include dyestuffs, auxiliaries and other related products used on synthetic and natural fibres for textile fabrics, garments and home furnishings. Formulation refers to the customizations of standard products in accordance with customers' specifications to suit their requirements.

We have been marketing and distributing our reactive dyestuffs under our brand name of Megafix since incorporation and presently, we have a customer base of more than 1,000 customers. Our reactive dyestuffs are used mainly on cellulosic fibres and Megafix products. We also market and distribute disperse dyestuffs and optical brightening agents under our own brands of Megaperse and Megawhite respectively.

Our diverse range of more than 19 product categories comprising  more than 200 products enables us to meet the diverse needs of our customers. We serve a wide customer base of more than 1,000 customers including textile manufacturers, who utilise wet processing and dyeing techniques, specialty chemical distributors, garment manufacturers, OEMs for MNCs which own and distribute apparels under major global brands. Our products are sold globally to customers in the PRC, South-East Asia, North Asia and Africa.

Trading Segment

In addition to supplying our in-house products under our Specialty Chemicals Segment, we distribute the following third party products:

• (i) Specialty process equipment and computerized control systems;
• (ii) Microbial products; and
• (iii) X-rite spectrophotometer for colour measurements.

The distribution of such equipment and anti microbial products is part of our effort to provide support services to our customers.
